Maybe you got a website or using Facebook, but now you’ve got this podcast, and you need to invite people to buy something somehow. Most of the time, people are not going to dial their phone and call you up to talk to you, and try to set up some appointment.

Instead, they’re going to be more interested in going to the website, and probably getting something a little bit more passive because podcast listening is a passive activity so you’re dealing with people that are a little bit more passive, but you can nurture them to those higher-end products.

But ideally, you have some course, and it doesn’t have to be complicated. It could be super easy. That’s what Kamala has shown me, and you can make money podcasting that way.

You want to have an offer that you can sell. Remember, we talked about on the last episode, the Make Money Podcasting – Part Two that you want to make sure that your offer solves one particular problem. So you want your offer to solve the same problem that your podcast to solving for an audience.

Then, you want to create a commercial on your episode that’s going to send people to some place where they could get a free bit of content that’s also related to your offer.

Once they get that free piece of content, maybe it’s a guide that goes with the episode or a PDF so they can just get a little bit more nurturing from you, they get on your email list. Then, you want to send them some place to buy.

I know that Luis has done it a lot through just sending someone a PayPal link on Facebook. Now, there are a lot of different ways to do that. You have to have someone who is ready to go to do that. Or you could get ClickFunnels as a fantastic software and build out a whole funnel if you want. But you don’t have to make it complicated.

Here’s the thing.

You already have the recording equipment. You’re starting a podcast. You’re going to have to have some simple microphone, or you know how to record at least yourself talking.

Make Money Podcasting – Walk People Through The Results They Want

With your online course, you could just decide what some steps you want to walk people through.

What are the results you want to get them towards? You record those with whatever recording equipment you already have, and that way, you could use that as content to send to them. You know that you’re going to walk them through how to get the result they want.

It’s the same thing you’re going to position on your podcast, on your commercial, on your free offer, and then the offer that they’re going to buy.

Make Money Podcasting – Sending People To A Members’ Area

Then, once they buy, you just want to send them to a password protected website of some kinds. People call it some “members’ area.”

Like I said, if you have ClickFunnels, they have Members’ areas that you could do in there or when I first sold my first online course, I just sent them the content and an email because I didn’t have a Members’ area.

Now, here’s another trick for you, guys.

Make Money Podcasting – Do A Test

Before you go out and spend a lot of time and energy and probably money creating an offer, do a test. Put it out there first. See if people buy before you create it.

Once people buy, then you create it afterward.

You can have maybe a one-sheet document that you send to people. As soon as they buy saying, “Here’s what you need to get started, and then we’re going to open the carts in a month,” or “in two weeks,” you can release the content slowly.

That way, you don’t have to spend all of that time and energy up front creating something maybe people won’t buy.
