Teach Online Courses – Create Something That Solves A Specific Problem

The first step with teaching an online course is you have to consider the solution that you want people to have. It’s not just about putting something out there that encompasses all of the different things that you’re passionate about or all the different interests you have.

You have to create something that seeks to solve one specific problem that people are suffering from.

Teach Online Courses – Lay Out The Steps

The next thing to do when you want to teach online courses is you want to lay out the steps. What are the steps that are going to take for people to get that solution that you’re offering?

If you are a weight loss coach, maybe the first step is incorporating more leafy greens into your diet and maybe the next step is incorporating exercise in your daily life.

What are the steps that are going to help people get to that final solution, which is weight loss?

Teach Online Courses – Ways To Deliver Content

Next, you want to put out content in a way that people want to consume it.

Maybe your audience is into videos. Maybe they want downloadable PDFs. Maybe they want just audio files so they could just listen on the go. Maybe they want one-on-one coaching or group coaching.

There are many different ways you can deliver your online course.

Teach Online Courses – Ask Your Audience

Now, one of the best ways to know how your audience wants the content delivered is to just ask them.

Say, “Hey, I’m thinking about putting out this online course and what would be the best way for you guys to receive the information? Do you want videos? Do you want me to do audios? Do you want workbooks?”

Now, once you know how your audience wants it, then it’s going to be easy for you to just record the steps and the information that drive them towards the solution they’re seeking.
