We’re talking about online business ideas, and we love having an online business because we can work from anywhere in the world and we do. We’ve worked from the beaches of Bali to the jungles of Thailand, to the cities of Colombia, and we have this lifestyle where we can work from anywhere.
That’s why we want to get into today with you on some online business ideas.

If you’re looking for online business ideas, we want to give you a list of three different categories, and then we can dive deeper into each one.
One of the first categories of online business ideas is selling physical products.
Online Business Ideas – Sell Physical Products

As one of the online business ideas, having a physical product is probably one of the easiest ones for people to start with. It’s probably one of the fastest ones for people to start getting some results. The reason why is it’s not going to require lots of education and there’s a ton of resources out there teaching you how to do this.
Selling physical products online can be selling Amazon products. You can become an affiliate through Amazon and sell their products. You can start selling physical products through Craigslist. You could potentially go to Craigslist and buy products for very cheaply, and then resell them on Amazon for more or you could sell physical products on eBay. You could buy products from Amazon or Craigslist, and then sell them on Ebay for more.
That’s a very easy way to get started with selling online, and an online business idea.
Online Business Ideas – Develop Physical Products

Of course, you could develop your physical products.
For example, we have various clients who have their products.
One example is we have a customer who sells nutrition-based products. They white label them. It’s a product they buy from somewhere else, but they put their label on it, and they resell it online.
Having physical products is an excellent way to get started just so that you can get your toes wet.

Yeah.
Another few place is it’s either you could do clothing that you go when you buy from the thrift store, like vintage clothing, and then you sell it on Etsy and create your store there. Things that you make like lotions or candles or arts and crafts, and things you can sell as physical products.
I know you said that’s one of the easiest Luis but I think this one is even easier.
Online Business Ideas – Sell Your Services

The second way you could sell online is with your services.
With services, there are so many different services you can offer online. You could offer coaching or consulting. Coaching is a big industry right now. You could do something like design work if you have any skill as an artist. You could sell your services with website development or graphic design.
If you’re a writer, you could do writing services for people. If you are good at editing audio or writing, editing, proofreading, or video editing, you could offer those services. All of those different things are services you could sell online.
If you have a skill in one particular area, you could start selling it online.
Another thing is education. This could be tutoring that you do.
Online Business Ideas – Teaching And Tutoring

I have a Spanish teacher. I meet with him twice a week. And so, he’s making money just with tutoring.
If you’re a guitar teacher or piano teacher, you could teach all of that stuff online and meet with your clients over Skype.

Offering services is potentially one of the faster ways to get started selling online, and even having a side hustle or a side business, and even turning it into a full business.
Platforms
Some of the ways you can sell your services whether it’s coaching, design, work, writing, editing, tutoring, you can go to a website like italki.com. It is a website that you can go to, and you could start selling your tutoring for language. There are people all over the world looking for a language tutor. You can Google language tutoring websites and apply to be a tutor through various websites. I’ve done that myself.
You can also go to upwork.com and sell your design work or your editing or proofreading. You can sell almost anything through Upwork. If it’s a service that can be digital, then you have someone write you, give you the instructions, and then you can accomplish the task on your own and give the person the job when it’s done.
There are various sites. You can go to Fiverr.com. I don’t recommend Fiverr.com, but it’s another suggestion where you can sell products or services for $5.

Online Business Ideas – Build Your Website And Brand

Well, another way to sell your services online is by building your website, building your brand, and just driving traffic to that, creating content and creating engagement around your services. That’s kind of the longer path to sell your services.
But, you can always go out and join Facebook groups or LinkedIn groups of people who are looking for services. Then, you engage with a community and have a way of offering your services and asking for referrals once you get some people that you can work for.
Online Business Ideas – Building Digital Products

Our very favorite way for an online business idea is building digital products.
This one is a little more intensive than the other ways we’ve mentioned. The reason we love digital products the absolute most is that having digital products is passive income in your pocket. If you do it right, then you can create an online course, and you could sell it again and again. You create it once, and you sell it over and over again.
Example Of Online Courses And Online Business Ideas

An example of this is Luis has a course on podcasting, and he walks you through the steps of how to create your podcast. Then, he has an in-depth version of that course where you want to grow your podcast. You want to monetize your podcast. You want to know how to leverage your show and reach out to famous people in your industry.
And so, what Luis did is he sat down, and he recorded videos and audio. He created PDFs, workbooks, guides, and step-by-step processes to walk people through all of the steps to be able to launch their podcast, to grow their podcast, to monetize it, and to reach industry leaders.
That’s an example of an online course.

If you have a skill set where you can walk someone from point A to point B, C, D, E all the way to Z or some place in the alphabet there and you can help people learn how to do something. You can create an online course.
The big question is, is there a market for? That’s the bigger question.
Online Business Ideas – Use Your Skills

Let’s say you teach people how to build awesome stylize T-shirts. You could create a course, film yourself creating these T-shirts and how to do that whole process, and you have a course. You break it down into short little videos, so it’s not everything all at once but short little videos.
If you know how to build a WordPress site, for example, you could create a series of videos teaching people how to create and optimize WordPress sites.
If you know how to podcast, you can build a course on how to find the graphics, the artwork, how to optimize your show, how to sell your show, and how to do all the pieces involved.
You can do cooking or nutrition.
If you have the skill and you know how to get people results, and you know how to do the steps involved, all you need to do is list out the process. Then, start recording and creating videos, PDFs, and all of the things necessary to help people learn how to do that.

I want to make sure you guys have the resources because here’s the biggest mistake that someone makes when they want to create an online course. They think, “Yeah, I’ve got the skill.” Then, they’d go in, and they create the course before it even sells.
What happen is most people never even make it to creating the end of the course, and they wasted a lot of time, and often, a lot of money. Even worst, they spend months creating a course, and then it doesn’t sell.
Online Business Ideas – Find Out If The Course Is Going To Sell

I recommend finding out that the course is going to sell on the front end before you go out and do that. I created a whole video training on how you can create your course.
