Mistakes People Do When They Try To Make Money From Facebook
One of the mistakes I see a lot of people make when it comes to their Facebook group or other Facebook groups is they’re not an authority. They’re not a leader.
If you want people to buy from you and you want to profit from Facebook in a purely organic way, people need to know that they can trust you, that you’re an authority, and that you have something to offer them.
Make Money From Facebook – Be An Authority
The very first thing I can tell you to make money from Facebook is to be an authority. Be a leader. Offer value.
If you want to make money from a Facebook group, you’re going to need to have ways that you can create authority and be a leader.
Make Money From Facebook – Have Themed Days To Create Authority
One of the best ways I’ve found to do that is have themed days. Maybe Monday is your social media share day. It’s one of the things we do inside of our group.
By having themed days, days that are built around some concept and a day where I can be the authority for that particular title, not only do I increase engagement and get people excited about Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesdays. But I also create ways that cut down on spam.
On Mondays, you can’t share anything else except this particular thing, and you can’t go on other days and share spam or things that look like spam.
Make sure to throw in some themed days inside your group.
Make Money From Facebook – Don’t Auto-Add People
Here’s one of the mistakes I see a lot of people making when it comes to Facebook groups is they are auto-adding people. They’re going through their friends’ list and adding everybody they can think of that should just be inside their group or they just want to see this number go up.
It’s not just about having a big size group. It’s about having an active group, and you do need to build that group.
So one of the ways you can do that is private message people. Say, “Hey. I built a new Facebook group around X, and it does X, Y, and Z. I think you’d be a great fit. I’d love to see you in the group. Here’s a link. Come and join my group.” Don’t auto-add people.
Make Money From Facebook – Understand That A Facebook Group Is An Email List
Then, the other thing to realize about a Facebook group is it’s essentially an email list.
If you’re building authority in that group, using themed days, and consistently adding and building that group in a way that’s highly targeted and useful, then you will start to make money from Facebook groups.
