Hey. Today, I want to talk to you about how to attract customers, get more clients, and make more money.

Hi. My name is Luis Congdon, co-creator of three different products that teach people how to attract customers, as well as co-owner of Thriving Launch, and a paid speaker. So I know a lot about attracting clients in different avenues that will help you make more money online and offline.

So, when we talk about how to attract customers, a lot of people are trying to get to the money right away. They’re trying see how to attract customers in the door right away.

The very first thing I want to tell you is that people buy from people they know, like, and trust. The very first piece that we need to do if we want to learn how to attract customers is we need to have people like us, trust us, and then, they’ll buy from us.

On the Thriving Launch Podcast that runs five times a week, we’ve brought on the world’s best sales trainers and interviewed them. We’ve had people like Ryan Stewman, Jeffrey Gitomer, Eric Lofholm, Dave Asprey, and a long list of people that have been highly successful, building 6-figure and 7-figure businesses and they’ve only done it because they’ve learned how to attract customers and they know how to do that.

So, let me give you some more tips that we’ve gathered from interviewing these top sales people and the things that I personally love. You’re not just going after clients but they’re coming after you and they’re seeking you out.

How To Attract Customers Like The Dating Game

So, my next tip for you if you really want to have clients coming to you, which is ideal, it’s very much like the dating game. If somebody’s coming after you, you can command higher fees and you’ll have more respect online and offline, and you’ll be seen as a higher value business person.

Well, the first thing that I did in order to increase my value and attract more high level clients is I started teaching. I started adding value to a lot of communities and a lot of people. And by teaching, I set myself up as an expert.

When you become seen as an expert and an authority, very much like through this video, you’re noticing that I’m good at sales and I understand sales by building this up and becoming the authority and the expert in teaching, giving away the free value like this, people start going, “Whoa. This person must charge a lot.” “This person has taught me a lot.” “Oh, I’d love to pay them. I’d love to learn more from them.” And that’s one of the first ways and one of the most profitable ways to see how to attract customers.

So one of the ways that you know how to attract customers and attract awesome clients is you got to be on social media. When you look at people like Ryan Stewman, Eric Lofholm, Dave Asprey, I could name off anybody like Tony Robbins, Warren Buffett, Richard Branson, they’re all on social media.

How To Attract Customers On Social Media

You need to be on social media and people need to know what you do. But you don’t want to just be selling and selling on social media. One of the keys to social media and something I talked about in The Profit from Facebook stuff is that you need to be adding value. So be there and add value.

A lot of people have had success by blogging, by doing YouTube videos, being all over the place but you don’t have to go crazy and try to start a blog and then, be on all the different social media channels.

In fact, you can be on one or two social media channels but you absolutely need to have a website. You absolutely need to be teaching people and adding value. The more value you’re adding to the market, the more people’s lives that you’re touching, the more that you’re going to have people knocking down your door, being crazy to work with you.

Tony Robbins and Zig Ziglar both said something that really struck me and changed my life. It is “If you want to become wealthy, you need to impact a lot of people. The more people you impact, the more that your fees go up.”

When I first started my business, I want to be honest, I was really broke. I didn’t understand how to do business but I understood how to add value and I understood how to use social media.

At first, you might feel a bit nervous about this or maybe you won’t but you want to get out there on social media, start adding value but also, you need to start telling people about what you do.

How To Attract Customers With Engagement

So for example, one of the first things I did when I started hitting social media is I just started saying, “Hey, who needs to learn how to do podcasting? I do it. If you want to talk about it, message me.” And that’s the forth like gold.

One of my friends and guest of the Thriving Launch Podcast is Russell Brunson. If you know anything about Russell, you know that he’s highly successful. You’re welcome to Google him. But let me just tell you that he is at the top of his game.

One of the things that he talks about is the Value Ladder. Essentially very quickly what a value ladder is the more things that you offer people, the more that your value escalates. So we might offer free teachings. Then, we offer a book or a guide or something that costs very little. Then we offer digital programs. So, think about not only creating free valuable content but also things that cost money that increase your value.

One of the questions that Derek Halpern of Social Triggers asked in a really amazing blog article is should you give your services away for free? Is there value in doing so?

I, like Derek, say that there’s a lot of value in giving away your services for free but doing it intelligently.

One of the ways that we do that intelligently is we offer our services or our programs to key influencers. Not just anybody and not everybody but certain specific people that will help us along the path and also by helping them get awesome testimonials and all of that.

Get Support With How To Attract Customers

Learning how to attract customers is a lot like trying to find an awesome date to go on. One of the first tips we learn in dating if you’re looking for people is to get out there but one of the other things we talked about is go and tell your friends and family that you’re looking for a date. Tell them that you’re getting out there. It’s same thing in business.

If you’re interested in learning how to attract customers and clients, you need to start telling your friends, your family, and your network. Be vocal about what you do and tell people “Hey, I’m opening up my services and I’d love your help if you know anyone that would benefit from these services or products that I have.”

So we’ve covered a lot of different steps that you can utilize how to attract customers, more customers, and have them banging at your door, seeking you out, and chasing you.
