Hey. Thriving Launchers, today, Kamala and I sat down and had a candid conversation about having a calm mind and finding more spaciousness and freedom.
How do you destress? How do you have a calm mind so you can be more creative and be happier?
Today, Kamala and I talked about that, and we want to give you an opportunity to sit with us and chat as well.
Hey. Thriving Launchers, today, Kamala and I were having this conversation about stress, overwhelm, and even how a lot of people are getting sick. Most doctors say it’s because of stress. It’s an important subject, and that’s why we wanted to talk about it today.
Kamala, I’ve heard you talked about the importance of having a calm mind and finding activities and ways for us to destress. I want to ask you a little bit about that.

Yeah. It’s such an important thing to talk about.
One thing we do here at Thriving Launch is we help our clients put out surveys to see what people want in their market, what people are hungry for.
It doesn’t matter what market we send out a survey in. People are always saying they’re stressed out and overwhelmed, so I’m glad we’re having this conversation today Luis.
A Calm Mind Can Create A Dream Life

How are we ever going to create our dream life, the things we want, the freedom we want in our lives if we’re stress out?
Stress blocks us from being able to tap into that inner voice that tells us what we’re wanting.

You and I have just finished up six interviews. Now, we’re recording a special episode where we’re just training people.
I love doing interviews and the work we do. Just by the very nature of anything that has to do with work, it naturally creates stress.
Ways To Create A Calm Mind

The first thing I’m going to do as soon as we hang up is I’m going to get dressed, get ready, and go to the gym. That’s the number one thing on my plate as far as creating a calm mind.
Going to the gym and nature walks are my two top things.
Importance Of Having A Calm Mind

Yeah, and what that does for us is it creates a reset. It allows us to have the ability to slow down, quiet everything, hear what’s going on, and understand what we need on a deeper level.
Part of the reason creating a calm mind is crucial is I’ve believed knowing what you want, having a clear idea of what you desire is, it’s 80% of getting it.
If you understand what your desire is, and you know what you want in life, it’s so much easier to get it. That’s the biggest step we could take.
And so, having this time to slow down, to hear that internal dialog and what’s going on underneath all of the chatter, then we can tap into what is it we want in life. Having that spaciousness and that time to get in touch with that and that’s where the freedom comes in.
Creating More Space, Freedom, And Calm Mind

The more we create that space and put some energy towards distressing, the more we open up and have deeper capabilities to have deep focus, be more creative, and get more out of the time we use at work.

It’s true.
I just encourage everyone to go out and find what the thing that is going to help you to quiet down a little bit, to slow things down, to have a calm mind, and to be able to listen to that inner internal voice is.
Tools To Have A Calm Mind

Here’s one tool you can use to have a calm mind because there’s so many. They’re endless. You can find them in any religion or any spiritual practice.
There are tools given to us in so many different ways from meditation to walks out in nature to calm and quiet the mind down and get clear on what we’re wanting.

One of the things I wanted to jump in and say Kamala is we’ve also done a fair amount of interviews with people like Dr. Rick Hanson, Jack Canfield, and Bruce Lipton.
This is something that is crucial to us, and we spent a lot of time cultivating this conversation, and we want to continue having this conversation about how you can destress and create a calm mind.

Creating A Calm Mind By Asking A Question

Ask the question, “What is it that I need right now? What is it that my big desire is?”
I encourage you to repeat that question to yourself, to dream with that question, to set an intention before you go to sleep at night, and walk with that question as you’re moving through the world, and meditate on that question.
That question, just asking it and being open to hearing the answers is going to get you closer to what you want in life. It’s going to create a calm mind and get close to what it is you want in your life.
